About the Farm

Osbaston House Farm covers 250 acres of rolling Leicestershire countryside. Nestled on the edge of the National Forest, the land includes mature woodland, arable and grassland.

The Earp's have been custodians of Osbaston House Farm for nearly 100 years. John is the fourth generation of Earp's to farm the land. John's father, Gordon Henry, took over from his father, John Maurice, and carried on the tradition of raising and breeding British Friesian dairy cows. John Maurice took over from his father John Henry.

Our News

The utterly gorgeous Amanda Holden joined us on the farm for a wonderfully relaxed, carefree holiday.... Oodles of charm & impossibly glamorous....it was a genuine delight to host Amanda’s visit with her adorable friends and family. Turning her hand to milking goats, making bread in the outdoor oven & wheelbarrow races it was all far from the urban whirlwind & celebrity life of London!
Come glamping with us too! More news from the farm...

Our Farm

Osbaston House Farm is a small scale, working farm. We are passionate about the welfare of the animals we keep, and the wild animals and birds that choose our farm as their home. In this part of our website you can see the range of animals we farm, crops we grow, and farm wildlife and birdlife. We are primarily a goat farm and sometimes sell goatlings (young female goats who are not yet milkers), so here you can also find out about any animals that are available for purchase.

Horses and Ponies

Sharon established the Osbaston Shetland Pony Stud in 2007; specialising in roan and dun miniature Shetland ponies, the foundation ponies have mainly Brindister, Berry and Kerswell bloodlines. The ponies are shown in the Soring and summer as well as being the star attraction of the popular "Pony Parties". The farm is also able to offer livery services.
